Following a 9-month deployment in Eastern Europe with the U.S. Army Civil Affairs Battalion, Sergeant James Bollinger returned home with a renewed sense of purpose. The young non-commissioned officer stepped out of the military and back into civilian life, carrying with him a global perspective forged by long hours of civil engagement along NATO’s eastern flank.
Returning to Phoenix, Arizona, James reconnected with his brother, Joshua Harris—both united by a shared mission: to deliver the same sense of safety and peace that James had provided to communities overseas. He discovered that sometimes, the simple presence of a trained and disciplined individual can bring comfort, stability, and deterrence.
When the idea for Maverick Asset Protection was born, James immediately jumped on board. Together with his brother as co-founder, who was an experienced and forward-thinking professional, they launched Maverick Asset Protection LC in 2023. Though newly established, the agency is driven by a bold vision: to raise the standard for unarmed physical security in the Phoenix area.
